1980 Mustang Cobra
If you think having a "5.0" comes with bragging rights, think about having a "7.0"
This pony is a project started by an Engineer that I know personally before he had 6 kids.
It is built around a Total Performance kit and all the workmanship is excellent. The 429
cu in engine was professionally built by a Detroit area engine builder, and computer
models bring it in at about 425 HP. Years of sitting because the kids needed shoes have
taken their toll on the appearance, so to bring her to the presentation level she is worthy
of, a disassemble, detail, and meticulous re-assembly are in the works. Features to this
point include the strong running 429 with Holley 4 BBL, C-6 trans with 2800 stall
converter, 8.8 rear member with 3.08 locker, Sub-frame connectors, B&M Prostick, and
much more. Planned upgrades include taming her a little with the addition of vaccuum
brakes, power steering and isolators for the engine plate, and converting to 5 bolt wheels
and disc brakes around. Plans are to paint it orange with duplication of the original
stripes in 2 shades of gray. A nominal deposit could change that !!
UPDATE 11/28/06

5 on 4 1/2 wheels - Pic's soon !
